This Privacy Policy explains how LOKAL FL, LLC, doing business as Lokal Sun + Swim Co. ("LOKAL," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit lokalswimco.com (the "Site"), shop with us online, in our Belleair Bluffs store or at markets, or contact us.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, order details, return/exchange requests, reviews, messages to customer support, and marketing preferences.
  • Payment information: processed by Shopify Payments and other checkout payment providers (e.g., Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, as offered at checkout). We do not store full card numbers.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, referring site, and how you interact with the Site, collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

How we use it

To process and ship orders and returns; provide customer support; prevent fraud; send order updates; send marketing emails/texts if you opt in; measure and improve the Site; and show relevant ads.

Who we share it with (service providers)

  • Shopify – hosts our store, checkout and payments (shopify.com/legal/privacy).
  • Shopify Email – our email marketing platform.
  • Shopify Inbox / Messaging & Shopify Forms – chat and sign-up forms.
  • Heymarket – SMS messaging with customers who text us or opt in.
  • Redo – returns, exchanges and the optional return-coverage program.
  • Shippo – shipping labels and tracking; carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS) receive your name and address to deliver.
  • Judge.me – product reviews.
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram) pixel – advertising measurement and ad targeting.
  • TikTok pixel / TikTok Shop – advertising measurement, ad targeting and TikTok Shop orders.
  • Google (Google & YouTube channel, Google Analytics) – Site analytics and advertising.
  • QuickBooks Online – accounting records for orders.
  • Faire / Brandboom – wholesale orders only (wholesale buyers).

We may also share information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business. We do not sell personal information for money.

Advertising and your choices

We use the Meta, TikTok and Google pixels to show you ads and measure them ("targeted advertising"). Email and text marketing

Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email; reply STOP to any text. Order and service messages will still be sent.

Customer support

When you contact us by email, phone, text, chat, or in store, we use your contact details and messages to answer you and resolve orders, returns and defects. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California and other US states with privacy laws, and the EEA/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Email hello@lokalswimco.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject. We will verify your request and won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent.

Data retention

We keep order information as long as needed for our records, taxes and legal obligations, unless you ask us to delete it and we are allowed to.

Children

The Site is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Parents can contact us to request deletion.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will show the latest version.
